There are enough scholarships offered by the college. Every meritorious student must take the full opportunity of the scholarships that are offered by this college. The different scholarships offered by the college are:
1) Socio-economic Scholarship
2) Differently-abled Scholarship
3) SRM Arts & Culture Scholarship
The college offers different fee waiver schemes, teaching and research assistance to meritorious and deserving students. Some of these scholarships are just the college based and some of these are government based. In 2015 – 2016 nearly 2366 students benefited from various schemes with a total of INR 27 crores distributed as scholarship.
These scholarships are announced to help the meritorious and financially backward students. There are also different types of scholarships in academic and sports for the deserving candidates. There is 25 to 100% tuition fee waiver in all of these scholarships.
These are entry-level scholarships and are offered only for the first year.
The decision of the scholarship committee is final.
The continuance of scholarship for the subsequent year is based on the academic performance of the candidates in the immediate previous year of study (without any break of study).
Every year the eligible student has to apply for renewal of scholarship in the prescribed form available on the official website within the stipulated date. The selected students can also get disqualified if they do not apply for renewal of the scholarships in the subsequent years.
